Life in my grandparents' time by Clara Giménez Arteaga

My grandparents lived in a little village, in Navarra. Their house was big, and near the house there was a vegetable garden and near that there was a hen house, both property of my grandparents. The house wasn’t old, it was wide and tall. The kitchen was rudimentary, because it that time there weren’t fridges " No frost ", and also there weren’t microwaves and ovens. The bedrooms were the tipical old rooms with cumbersone decoration and without TV!!! And they also couldn’t have vacuum cleaners, and all of the appliances that now clean our houses or cook the dinner alone. Its obviously that now our houses are better!!!
